Maddi's 1st Birthday!!!

Okay so before I explain the party I have to say that my life has been a little crazy lately. To start off when I got back from Boise I left my purse at my aunt's house in Rupert so for three days I didn't have my cell phone, wallet, camera, nothing!! Then to top it off our computer stopped working so I couldn't even get online or anything. What a difference technology makes in your life. I am actually posting this blog from the hair school as our computer won't be fixed utnil next week.


So, the party...it went great! We had a lot of fun and I wish I had more pictures. We had quite a few friends and family show up which was so great. We played some games and had fun eating cake and ice cream. Maddi wasn't quite as into the cake as we had anticipated, because she just wanted to be down playing with the other kids. It was so cute too, when they all left she was at the top of the stairs watching them leave and then she just sat down and started crying. :) She wanted to keep playing!

My first birthday cake...the first one actually didn't work out because the cake got stuck to the pan. Then I learned a trick and the second one came out perfectly! Maddi had a miniature cake that looked like this one.

Grandpa Evans was sticking balloons to Maddi and she couldn't figure out how to get them off! It was pretty funny!
