Gardening!

I am so excited to finally get to have a garden this year! We are doing one with Ryan's parents. We finally had a chance to get out yesterday and get everything in the ground. We still have a few left, but we got most of it done. It feels good to be outside doing something productive.

This planting experience was much different from the ones I had growing up. My dad would have everything mapped out on paper. Each row and seed was spaced perfectly. Our garden here, well...lets just say it was done on a whim. We just kind of got a general idea and started planting. Then we found out Rick & Ryan had already planted some onions and radishes in the same spot as some of our cucumbers! Oops! We'll just see what pops up!

Maddi was a great helper. She loved playing in the dirt...even tried the taste out. What more could a kid want? We got home and she even had dirt in her diaper.
