I had every intention of doing this post yesterday, but the day turned out crazy and completely got away from me. Yesterday was Ryan and I's 5th anniversary. Its crazy to think about how much has happened in our lives the past 5 years. Big accomplishments would be: finishing school, buying a house, and two children. :) There are certainly times and circumstances that try a relationship more than others, but it is because of those times that I have come to love my husband so much. It hasn't been a perfect five years, but its been pretty dang close.
Probably one of my favorite things to have been a part of is watching my husband be a dad. He has a relationship with Maddi that I will never have. The moment he walks through the door she is in "crazy play mode". It generally involves throwing things at each other, tickling, lots of screaming and laughing, and will typically end in tears. Yet she starts it back up once she's over it. :) And now with Brynnley I get to watch him with a baby again and its kind of the same scenario. He loves to play with her and get her to smile.
I'm so grateful to have this wonderful man in my life. I truly look forward to what the next 5 years will bring us and the many after that as well. :)

Happy Anniversary. Dad's really do have a special relationship with their kids. I guess us moms just get boring after a while ; )
Ryan is a great dad and husband. We're glad you brought him into our family.
