6 months. The halfway mark. Where does the time go? This month was rather monumental for Brynnley as she got two teeth and mastered sitting up! When I took her into her doctor's appointment I was hoping for 14 lbs. However, our little bug remains on the tiny side and weiged in at 13 lbs. 2 oz. and was 24 3/4" long.
We also tried some cereal for the first time.
First bite: Success!

And happy once again when we're finished.
I don't remember Maddi having a difficult time with the transition to baby foods, but Brynnley sure doesn't like them. We've since tried cereal many times, and other baby foods without much success. She doesn't make the faces anymore, but she's still working on the whole opening your mouth, don't push the food out, keep your tongue in thing. :)

She has such a beautiful smile! And I love those faces of her eating. Have you tried letting her chew on some crackers or something to get use to eating things with her mouth? But you'd think she would have it figured out with as much as she chews on EVERYTHING else!
