For our Evans reunion this year we went up to Heise. I had never been there before and boy have we been missing out! It was so much fun! I really wish I had more pictures, but cameras and water are hard to juggle. Some of the family camped there while some of us just commuted. It was a day filled with napping, relaxation, and fun! Oh, and some yummy food!
Maddi, our child that HATES the water, actually did quite well. The first time in the pool she had her lifejacket and floatie with her at all times. That afternoon when we went back she ditched the lifejacket-way to go Maddi! And, as if that wasn't enough of a breakthrough she actually asked to go on the water slide! She wanted me to take her and unfortunately I wasn't very good about keeping her head above water when we reached the end so she didn't go again, but still! I was so proud of her!
This was Brynnley's first time in a pool and she loved it! She was so cute!

Way to go Maddi! And I love that video of Brynnley kicking on her back. I think it is so weird that it was her first time in the water-but that's what you get for living in Rexburg ; )
