School Christmas Party 2011

Each year we put on a Christmas party for the students at our school.  It is always quite the ordeal, since we have around 55 students that we feed, plus any spouses.  Although it can be a lot of work, April and I have fun coming up with festive recipes and ways to serve the food.  This year, however, was extra crazy as I was also in charge of our ward's Christmas party which just happened to be scheduled on the SAME night!  So, without going into too many details, the fun began Wednesday night for me setting up at the church until about 10:30pm.  All day Thursday was cooking for the school's party.  Then, after dinner at the school party I ran over to the church to help clean up there, then back to the school party for the remaining games and dessert.  :)  It was a crazy day, but fun day!  And, everyone liked both the parties-success!  (I don't have any pics from the ward party, but here's some from the school)

Look at all that food!
