Our Trip to Ennis

Ryan and I are in charge of his family reunion this year so we wanted to go visit the area we were thinking of doing it at. We decided to take off Easter weekend and have a fun little getaway for the two of us.  Ryan found a cute little bed and breakfast we could stay at and we were excited to spend some time together.  Jacque came up to watch the kiddos for us.

 

There were some cool clouds along the drive.  Its not too bad of a drive either. Its quite pretty in many areas.

 

 

On the drive up I started to feel not so great, but I was starving so I figured it was just because I was hungry.  We stopped at the campground we were going to stay at along the way to check it out and then continued on. Ennis is a tiny little town and finding a place to eat that was open on Easter Sunday was not so easy. (We hadn't really thought that part through) We finally found a place that was open to eat and I was starving.  We got our food and it was really yummy! Then we headed off to the B&B. The couple that owns the place was very talkative and as I was sitting there I started to feel worse and worse.  Finally, we were able to sneak off to our room and I made it to a bathroom.  I thought it was still just from getting too hungry and then eating too much.

 

Our room was amazing! And the bathroom was even more great!  First thing, I wanted to soak in the awesome tub.  I started filling it up, climbed in and lasted about a whole 5 minutes before I was back to the toilet and it was all downhill from there.  I spent the remainder of the night in our amazing room laying on the bathroom floor. :(  I was SO sick! I seriously wanted to die and have never been so sick in my life!



 

Ryan went to the store and loaded me up on the essentials, but it wasn't much use.  I couldn't keep anything down for more than maybe a half hour. I was exhausted by the next morning and so ready to just be home. I was glad we had stopped at the campground the day before, because I certainly didn't feel up to it now.

 

We made our way home and then that night Jacque and Brynnley both got the bug.  It was a long few days for our family, but we survived!
