Wedding Celebrations

We haven't had a wedding in our family for nearly 7 years so we (the girls) were excited to plan one! Its so much fun planning a great big huge party!
And, the new clothes aren't all that bad either, because that means you get some new family pics! I had my girls' dresses made. (Because you can't find modest ones or the right color...) They turned out so pretty and my girls loved them.  In fact, its the dress Kinsley insists on wearing nearly every Sunday.  We say its a good thing she'll have one that can fit her till she's 8.  haha!

Planning the party is always so much fun, but then you remember how much time it takes to set it up! I didn't think we would ever be done, but we made it and it looked amazing! At one point I was trying to get Ryan to go grab lunch for us and my dad kept coming up with other things for them to do.  I thought I would die before I got my food, and the worst part was that it was because I was pregnant, but hadn't told anybody yet.

Ryan was a trooper and built this amazing lemonade stand for the reception.  The best part about it is that it folds down for easy transport and storage!  The man is a stud.

We served all different flavors of popcorn.  Some was pre-made and some was make your own flavor combo. I thought it was a genius idea, and check out the cute sign my mom had made!

I love dances at weddings!  I think every reception/party should have one. It was absolutely adorable when these cute cousins started dancing together!

You know, when you're in your 30's with 3 kids of your own and another on the way, sometimes you forget about things like decorating a car...NOT! We totally knew that we wanted to do a BSU theme since Travis does not like Boise (I know, blasphemy). The younger cousins also got in on the action and the final product was pretty decent.  When they came out though Jacque's friends were trying to clean off the car for them!  I was like, "Hey losers, back off! The point is for THEM to clean it" Its a rite of passage.

We lit sparklers as they were leaving and of course the kids thought that it was the coolest. Maddi's face says it all.  ;)

The next weekend we got to do it all over again.  Sort of.  The good thing was that this time my mom had hired someone to help with some of the decorations so it wasn't as bad this time. :)

I still never printed pictures from her wedding. I need to get copies of them. That was a fun summer of wedding celebrations!
