Christmas 2008!

Christmas was a lot of fun with Maddi this year. She definitely understood more about presents and loved all her new toys. She had to try each one out first before she started to pick favorites. It is always so nice to spend time with family and just go back to the basics and leave our crazy lives behind for a few days. We spent the majority of our free time playing Settlers of Catan, shopping, and just catching up. It was a great Christmas!

Maddi wasn't so excited for this picture

My mom reading Maddi a book on Christmas Eve before she went to bed

Ryan's new chair- luckily for me he loved it!

The day after Christmas we went sledding...well we tried to go sledding. There's a new tubing hill about an hour away. We were told we didn't need reservations, but when we got up there they were full for the next 3 hours! So, we played in the snow for a little bit and then headed back home. Oh well, we had fun all the same.

This is my new favorite pic of Ryan and Maddi
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well. Happy New Years!

If you guys ever need anyone to play Settlers with, give us a call! Also, could you email me your address so I can send you an invitation to a baby shower some friends are throwing for me? Thanks, my email is mariloukent@yahoo.com

I love the picture of Maddi and Ryan, so cute!

So glad you had a wonderful Christmas!

Syd was really into presents too...except for when we were all done she'd say "more presents!" We've been hearing that for the last 3 days...yikes.

Their birthdays are next! :)

Hey there! I was so excited to see your blog through a connection of other blogs. I just joined the blogging world and am loving getting back in touch with high school friends! I can't believe Maddi is almost 2 and is so cute! Time really does fly but I hope we'll be able to stay in touch during this new year!
