This is where it all started- in the parking lot at the Salt Lake Airport. Maddi was in a good mood, which I was grateful for as this would be her first time flying.

She loved watching the airplanes.

Once we got to San Diego it was time to have some fun. We went to the beach that Saturday with my aunt before they headed out of town. The weather wasn't all that great, but we still had fun.

Maddi loved the water! Even once her lips were blue she kept wanting to play in more waves.

Babysitting my 3 cousins really wasn't too bad. During the mornings it was just Maddi and I and we loved to watch the humming birds. They came every day.

Rylee, my cousin, had a baseball tournament that weekend so before his game I took the girls to a park close by. They had lots of fun. So funny story about this day...by the end of the baseball game both the little girls had messy diapers. I didn't know where there were bathrooms so I opt to just change them in the car. Turns out that was a bad idea. Maddi was slightly explosive (sorry) and the diaper fell off the seat and got poop on the step thing of the car-great. Then I change the next diaper...as I'm going to throw them away I realize I have poop all over my shirt as well!!! On top of this I fried my legs that day. No sun all week and then the last day its nice and I burn. So I was in pain, with grouchy kids, and smelled like poop. :) But, it doesn't stop there. Hadlee, the youngest, decides to take her diaper off that night, and put on her underwear without me knowing. She then decides to poop again and try to clean it up herself. Oh boy! I was cleaning poop out of fingernails...so other than those events it was a great week. Needless to say I didn't want to see a poopy diaper for a while. LOL

Now, onto Boise. We had lots of fun here. We got in a day late, because of snow in Denver the day we were supposed to fly out, so I had to wait until the next day to get my connecting flight. We started out by going to the Discovery Center. Maddi thought it was pretty fun.

She loved the bubble wall!

They also had this adorable mini grocery store set up for the kids. It was seriously so cute! Maddi could have played in there all day.

Ryan laying on a bed of nails. It actually doesn't hurt.

Afterwards we watched the geese and ducks and rode the paddle boats. There were so many baby geese, it was actually making me a little scared...those mammas can be mean.

Ryan and Maddi were unfortunately the target practice for some ducks though. They practically flew right into them when they took off and I guess it scared the crap out of the ducks-literally. :)

We had a great time, getting to share your vacation with you. Especially the part where we got Maddi for the weekend.
What fun, what fun! You are so great about taking pictures too. The cabin looked way cute and like lots of fun.
What a packed vacation of fun!! (except for the poopy diaper thing!) That would "Stink"!!
(It is really late and I am laughing at myself for that one!)
Is that picture of the three people on the slide, Rylee or Baylee? I think it is Rylee but Lindy thinks it's Baylee.
