Happy Birthday Maddi!

Wow, where do I even begin? Is my little girl really 3? I have to say this year was quite fun with her. She was very excited about the presents when I brought them out last night and all day she kept asking for her cake. I'll give you the quick break down of festivities this year. (I realize now I wasn't super great about taking pictures this year)

The cake.

I like it, but don't love it. In case you are wondering it is Starsong from My Little Pony. I won't even go into the stress this cake has caused me...especially today. :)

I didn't get any pictures of our friends that came over...oops. Thanks Bittons for coming over on short notice though. It meant a lot.

So some things I don't want to forget about Maddi being 2:

*Her own personal little language that only I can really understand

*The tantrums (these I won't mind forgetting, but they are who she is)

*Potty Training

*Being able to get dressed "all by herself"

*Putting her hands on my cheeks and telling me that she loves me

*Snuggling with me in bed every morning

*Wanting to help me with cleaning, laundry, cooking...anything I'm doing really

*How much she loves to color!

It has been a fun year with her. I look forward to the next as she is really starting to understand the world around her. She just figured out emotions this week and so is always informing me of when she is happy, or if I say something that makes her angry. :) Gotta love their little minds.
