Medieval Joust Dinner

One of the nights we were there we went to a medieval dinner. Ryan was as giddy as a twelve year old boy...I really should have gotten some pictures of his face. :) I have to admit though...the whole night was a fun experience and definitely unique.

Us outside the castle

In the waiting area...they had some fancy name for it like grand hall or something. :)

One rule to the whole evening is NO SILVERWARE! When they brought out this half chicken (literally) I couldn't believe it. So, of course I took a picture. We also got a bbq rib, a roll, and a potato...all of which was eaten with my fingers. In the top left corner is the bowl we drank a tomato soup out of.

These are the knights. The one in front is the red knight...he's who we were cheering for. We got colored crowns when we arrived and were told to cheer on our kight and that our mortal enemy was the green knight so we spent the rest of our time booing him. :) It was actually quite fun!

Here's a little video of a fight as well.

That looks like so much fun. Did you eat the whole half chicken by yourself? If so, I'm impressed.
