Brynnley: 9 Months

Well, I've been meaning to post this for a month. Better late than never.

Height: 26 inches
Weight 14 lbs. 2 oz.

Yes, she is still VERY tiny. In fact, her weight is no longer on the charts. And, the little squirt got sick and lost 1/2 lb. a few weeks after this, but I think she's back on the rise. We actually have a weight check tomorrow. She wears 3-6 month clothes generally, but can still fit into some 0-3. Maybe she just wants to make sure the clothes get put to good use, you know, save money and all. :)

As for her accomplishments by this age: she is crawling, pulling herself up on EVERYTHING, and is quite the active little girl. She just mastered the stairs as well. (going up at least) She will walk when you hold her hands so I don't imagine we have much time left before she's walking on her own. Which, I am actually okay with. Crawling is an annoying stage I think. I mean, once they're mobile I would rather have them on their feet. Then I don't have to be embarassed when they pick up food off the floor when people are over, and most importantly I don't have to keep her caged up when we go into our school. (If you want to see something gross let your baby crawl on the floor at a hair school!) She is much quieter than her sister and will sometimes whisper "da-da" but she really doesn't say much. She always has a smile ready though and loves to play. Oh, and as I just looked at the picture. She has her two top teeth as well now too.

We totally understand the smallness factor. Brooklyn was way off the growth charts. I actually switched doctors because the one we were going to was freaking out so much about it. We had all sorts of tests done one her (which I understand), but they all came back normal and she was acting healthy and progressing normally. At that point I didn't understand the importance of just being on the charts. Any way. She is a cutie...and don't let doctors bully you around about size :)
