Stimpson Reunion 2011

Every year I look forward to the Stimpson Reunion. I can't really explain what it is about this week that I love so much, but nothing beats it. Its a week of no cell phones, sitting around talking with family, playing games, eating yummy food, enjoying the outdoors, and watching my kids enjoy the same spots I enjoyed as a kid. Each year we go to the exact same place, on the same week. It may sound boring to some, but for me its a lifetime of memories. I've gone there every year of my entire life, except for two. (One I was in Europe and the other I was having a baby) :) I love that Bounds campground up at Big Smoky and I love that my children also get the chance to love it with me.

One of my favorite memories of this reunion is fishing with my dad. This year Maddi got to start her own memories with Ryan. It was just some daddy daughter time and I love these pictures!

Us adults, we like to do a lot of sitting around. The girls usually do nails, crafts, eat the new yummy treats we've learned how to make in the past year, and talk about anything and everything!

This year I knew I was in for a fun time with Brynnley. She wasn't quite walking yet and she loves the dirt. I told myself before I left that she would be dirty the entire time and it would be okay! haha

She loved playing in this pool. And, yes that is dirt in the bottom, but you'll see why it didn't matter with the next pictures. :)

Ryan and I managed to sneak away for a little bit and go on a 4-wheeler ride together one day. It was fun just being out together.

After a long week of fun this is what happens minutes after you get in the car.
