Family Fun

In the middle of October I went to Rupert to get spend the weekend with my family.  Pretty much all of my mom's family was there.  The initial purpose of getting together was to do food storage/canning/72 hour kits, BUT at least while I was there we just played. :)  They did make some jam before I got into town, but other than that we pretty much just raided grandma's storage room.  haha  She still cans enough for an army so we take all the old and she keeps the new.  Pretty good agreement if you ask me!

 One night we went to a straw maze there.  Apparently it is the world's largest straw maze, at least, they are the recorded record holders.  This place really was amazing though!  They had two different mazes as well as a 3D maze!  When we got there they were actually closed, but because my grandparents know the owners they let us come in anyways while they were setting up for the haunted night.  So, we had the whole place to ourselves!  

They had these huge slides that the kids had a blast going down!

 Along with the slide they had some type of little race car track, a giant bean pit, and some inflatable horses you could ride around a track.

Trenton.  He broke his leg a little while back so he was our gimpy.  We were actually able to get him through the maze in his wheelchair!

It was a fun weekend all together.  The family is getting pretty big with us grandkids having kids now, but it just makes it all the more fun...most of the time. :)
