Lindy's High School Graduation: The Party

This trip marks the beginning of what will be a VERY crazy summer for me.  (You will see in the posts to come!)  My baby sister, Lindy, graduated from High School this year.  Its really kind of crazy.  I love bragging about her and all the things she has accomplished so far in life.  She's a very dedicated girl, and well, has some good brains in her head.  She went to a tough high school, took some crazy classes, and did some even more crazy projects like breeding albino fruit flies..who does that?!?  She got accepted to BYU with a scholarship and plans on studying Biogenetics.  Is that even how you spell that?  Ha!  She's a great kid and I'm excited to watch her future years.

As is tradition for us when throwing a party, we tend to go, uh, maybe, just a little, overboard.  :)  We always "think" we're keeping it simple, but that is rarely the reality.

We had family over before the "big party" for some grilled pizza.  It was a hit, and my idea!  haha  We did have a slight learning curve with the personal sized pizzas, but once we got the hang of it, it was great!

A perk of being the baby: We each got a senior picture or two hung up when we graduated, Lindy gets a poster sized scrapbook page!  :)  My mom is awesome.

Brynnley wouldn't take a picture with Lindy, but she would with Grandma!
After lunch with family, the friends started showing up and out came the goodies!
The spread

Cute little graduation hats

And, "Kami's Totally Awesome Popcorn"

Ah, friends
Another really fun thing from her party was that one of our dance coaches, Teresa Vaughn, came.  I hadn't seen her in a few years and we were able to get a picture of me, Carissa, and Lindy with her, but its on my parent's camera...We figured out that she's been part of our family for 26 years since I started dance at 4 years old.  Kind of crazy.  Our family has clocked a lot of hours at the studio over the years!
