Evans Family Reunion 2013

We started off our reunion in the usual fashion- the 4th of July Parade.  This year we were up in Ashton since Kyla and Kimmie were riding horses in the parade.  It was good weather this year, not too hot and we weren't in coats!
I had a heck of a time getting these two to take a picture...this was the best one.

Anxiously waiting for the parade to start, and the candy to come. :)
After the parade we headed out to go camping at a nearby place.  We had a nice little place set up for ourselves by the time we were all done.  Unfortunately this year the school was only closed on the 4th so Ryan didn't get to be out here much with us, but he came out in the evenings and we made the best of it.

The best part about camping is the kids entertaining themselves.  You can see Megan and her battle scars in this picture too.  We had an unfortunate event happen- Ryan and Tiffanie's dog bit Megan on the face.  An emergency trip and some stitches later she was all patched up.  She was quite the trooper.

One night we went to a dinner theater type thing the campground hosts.  There's a little show/play beforehand and then you ride out in horse drawn wagons to a building for dinner.  There they have a live band.  While we were waiting for the show to start we had some fun taking pictures.

The last night camping the kids had fun with glow sticks.  They were covered in them from head to toe and ran around the grassy area playing tag and just goofing off.  It was kind of crazy to see all the lights but no bodies.  :)

Its always so nice to have us all get together, especially since we are quite spread out at the moment.  We've got Greg & Kirsten in Portland, Oregon,  Ryan & Tiffanie in Fallon, Nevada, and Crystal & Nathan in California by Orange County.   The kids love playing together and I love watching them build those relationships.
