Steadmans: Koyle Reunion 2013

This year our family was in charge of our Koyle family reunion.  This is a big deal.  By big, I mean, lots of people.  :)  We found this awesome place called Steadmans.  It was THE perfect place for us!  It was a good central location for the family and it could accommodate all of us, which is no easy task.  We had heard that it was a fun place, but seriously...it was so much fun!  I could easily go back there over and over.  The slide was awesome.  Even 7 months pregnant I could down it.  :)  The kids, young and old, loved it and could go down themselves.  It kept them entertained all. day. long.  Who doesn't love that!?!  We, of course, had good food.  We had fun with the auction and had fun with the other smaller activities as well.  Ryan, Carissa, Lindy, and I had some intense games with the giant Kerplunk game.  :)

They may not love me posting this picture, but I think its an awesome shot! 

 One of the fun things offered here is a Candy Cannon.  You bring the candy, they provide the cannon.  The kids loved it!  You literally shoot candy out of here and it goes flying.  It was pretty cool.

 Carissa made up "moon sand" for the little kids to play with.  It was also a hit, and by the end of the day Brynnley and Koyle looked like ghosts.  They were covered in this stuff!

Planning this reunion can always be a bit of a crazy undertaking, but I think it went pretty darn good if I do say so myself!  (And I do)  Its great to spend time with family, and stay connected despite the distance and just the sheer size of this family.  Life just wouldn't be the same without family, and while I don't spend lots of time with my Koyle side, we are family.  We're always there for each other and thats one of the amazing things about family.
