This year at the reunion Maddi was able to go with the group to Goat Lake. Somehow I have never been on this trip, and couldn't go this year since some adults had to stay behind and watch the littles. She was so excited to go though!

It really is a pretty gorgeous place. Maddi says her favorite part was "riding in and out, because she saw lots of wildflowers and there was a log that was split in half that they had to walk through."
When she got back her face wasn't quite so excited any more. :) She was filthy from the ride on the 4 wheeler! She had also been gone most of the day and was tired, but she says she still had fun and would do it again.

That was my first time in also. But I will not be doing it again, even with a cutie like Maddi. I HATED the ride in and out. She was amazing and kept right up.
Summer adventures are always the best! Sad that we might not get our swimming lesson fun this year, but we are all excited that we will get to be at the reunion this summer. I am impressed at your details with how long ago it all was!
