On Christmas day we went to the Botanical Gardens. They cover the place in Christmas lights. Its really quite amazing my poor photography skills just don't do it justice. Christmas lights are like fireworks at the 4th...there's just something magical about them, in my opinion at least.
It was a rather cold day though so keeping warm was a bit of a challenge.
They did have fires set up every so often, but with the fencing around them you could hardly get close enough to really feel warm.
They had some really fun displays of flower out of the lights. Its amazing what they were able to do. I didn't get a picture but they had "grapevines" wrapped around trellis with "bunches of grapes" hanging down too. It was so fun to go and see!
