Maddi thought it was pretty neat...I thought she would be scared, but nope!
**Disclaimer** Ryan does know where to properly place a gun while shooting, and he didn't want me to post this picture. He hadn't ever shot the size of shells he was using and his gun was jamming, plus he was moving quick trying to get the geese and didn't always make it to his shoulder :) This is what happens. Ouch!
Needless to say, I now have 4 huge geese breasts in my freezer. I got a recipe from my grandma for finger steaks and am going to try making those with the goose meat. Hopefully it turns out...I'll let ya know!

Dude Ryan, that is seriously the gnarliest bruise I have ever seen. I can't say that I'm not just wee-bit jealous :) lol that is a cute pic of you and Maddi! Looks like fun, I'll have to come over and try some of this goose meat!
wow that is a nasty bruise! Madi is so dang cute! I can't believe she wasn't scared, I think Grace would have been. =)
OK, you gotta teach Maddi to be a girly girl, or someday her Dad will make her clean the goose and pick the feathers like my Dad did. Sick! She needs to start practicing the alligator tears and the gagging reflex now, while she's still cute. That is the most serious bruise I've ever seen. Looks like it is just a hair away from being a bloody mess. See you in a couple of weeks!
