Happy Halloween!

Well Maddi was definitely into Halloween this year. She loved having her nose painted and she definitely LOVED the candy. It took her all of oh...two seconds to figure out what was being put in her bucket. :) We had lots of fun going out with our friends and afterwards we had scones, cider, and hot chocolate.

Maddi (by our neigbors pumpkin..lol...we were lazy this year)

So all in all it was a great night, but there is a great ending to our Halloween. We came home and talked with my parents on the web cam. Maddi was jabbering away and then suddenly crashed...no more sugar high. I made the comment that she could puke at anytime from all the candy she had eaten that day. A few minutes later Ryan stood up with her and sure enough...she puked all over! We both just started laughing while she looked at us very confused. Needless to say the webcam was cut short as we began cleaning up the huge mess. Poor girl...now we know...you really can't just let your kids eat candy all day. LOL (P.S.- She started jabbering away again once she puked...it was great!)

that picture of maddi and ryan makes it look like maddi was scared of ryans costume. i wish i was here for the webcam. the dance was really boring. it would have been funner watching maddi puke. lol.

So cute! i giggled when i saw that you took a picture next to your neighbors carved pumpkin. lol. For some reason we didn't get around to carving one either. So props to you for taking advantage of your neighbors pumpkin and having no shame in it! I wish i had thought of it!

I'm looking forward to next year when we can take Landon trick-or-treating and we don't feel like Roger and I are on a secret mission to get candy:)

Let's play next time you're in town.
