Well, I'm sure you've all seen my involvement with politics lately and today I got the wonderful opportunity to exercise my rights as an American citizen and I attended our rally here in Rexburg. I'm sure you all did the same in your own cities. :) It was a VERY neat thing to be a part of and I am so glad I did it, even though my fingers were completely frozen, my sign got torn apart by the wind, and it started raining. Luckily the rain came at the end. To be a part of something bigger than myself was awesome. Here's a few pics of the events.

We didn't make it for the drive-by. I didn't really think that counted as being involved and exercising my rights anyways. However, I do admire your participation and agree that we need to get involved with these things. So hopefully next time I will be able to participate.
Good for you for taking the time and effort to be there and make your voice heard. I hope the events keep happening so I can participate sometime. I could give you all my excuses, but blah blah blah, that's all they are is excuses. Go Mandi! I'll vote for you.
Yea!! I am so happy to see other people get involved and see that other people care. I wanted to go so bad to ours, but it was right in the middle of my school day. I did however, get to watch them march down toward the capital on the way to school. It was amazing!! There were thousands of people. . I also noticed you were a big fan of Glen Beck too!! He is my hero! 9/12 all the way baby!! haha. :)
derik went down to ours here in salem on his lunch break. he said there were like 3000 people there. they only anticipated around 1000. he saw some guy leaving and asked if he could have his sign. this is actually the first year i'd ever heard of the tea party...and i thought i was educated!
