Yep, we got a bird! I had lots of parakeets growing up so it has been fun to have this little guy around. He is very friendly, but definitely still trying to get used to his new home. We'll get a companion for him a little later. :) Maddi loves the bird (at a distance) I did get this one picture of her with the bird, but she doesn't like to hold him. I'm sure that will change with time. We still haven't come up with a name so any suggestions would be appreciated! lol For right now we just call him "bird".

Love the bird! I am even kind of jealous of it. Maybe a name like Rookie, since its your first bird.
How about Jerry for generic, you know like "no name".
Haha, you definitely have to go with Raindrop. He looks just like him! Then you'll just have to get a white one and name it snowflake, then it would be just like old time :D
