We are officially potty trained!!

So last weekend I decided to start potty training Maddi. We went to the store, bought some poster board, stickers, and underwear. Then it was time for the dreaded. The first two days were miserable! We had so many accidents and I swore that if I heard the buzzer go off one more time telling us it was time to try I was going to scream. But, just at the moment that I was ready to give up she started to catch on. By Monday afternoon she had started telling us when she needed to go. She's used public restrooms, made it through naps, and has had no accidents since Monday. Woohoo! I'm so glad to be rid of diapers. Way to go Maddi- you're a big girl now!

Here are just pictures of what we have been up to the last while. Politics have sort of taken over my blog, so I figured it was time for some pictures.

We went Huckleberry picking one weekend. We got quite a few and Maddi loved them!

This is from our Elders Quorum party. They had a rockwall, a fire truck spraying water, good food, and lots of other little activities.

We rode the carousel at the park.

We've started putting in our sprinklers. It is still a work in progress, but we are getting close...here we come grass!

We had some friends over for the 24th of July and let off some fireworks. Maddi loved the sparklers.

Okay, so that's about how easy it was to get rid of the binky for us, but potty training? How'd you get so lucky?? I tried for maybe 20 minutes last week and had 3 accidents. I decided we were waiting because I can't handle it yet. Maybe if I just did it though it could be that easy. Any tips? Tell me more about how you did it.

I wish I were completely through the potty training with Ryder. He tells us when he needs to go pee but the other- look out. I hear girls are easier.... I sure hope so.
