Here's a final picture of our tree. They never look as good in pictures, but I always have fun putting up my ornaments each year since each one represents something. Its also fun to now have some of Maddi's own ornaments on the tree. :)
Our stockings hung, anxiously awaiting the goodies that will go inside.

And...
how could I forget about Zeke?!? We have adopted my parent's dog. My parents and little sister are never home anymore between work, school, dance, church....you name it so this little guy gets left alone a lot. So...he gets to live with us now. The transition hasn't been too difficult. He's a very nice dog and Maddi loves him as you can see. We're still working on the "potty" issue as we have no back door currently and no fence. But, he's learning to let us know when he needs out.

I couldn't get our stars to hang up. I put mine with the hanger on the wrong end, did you use a super long nail?
I don't think we used a very long nail. Yeah, I hadn't thought about the hanger either, but luckily with mine it didn't really matter.
