Grass!

Well, the last few weeks have been very busy for me and so I am trying to get a little caught up on the events so I don't fall too far behind. Our big accomplishment so far this summer is getting our grass in. I can't even explain how excited I am to finally have grass in our yard! It will be so nice to have somewhere to sit outside and to play on. My parents came up to help and then we had some friends come over in the morning to help. However, Ryan couldn't get the day off and so hadn't planned on laying the sod until that evening, but my parents and our one friends (with a little help from me) laid all the sod down during the day! Thank you so much you guys for your help!!!

The kids kept themselves occupied by playing with bubbles, jumping off the sod pallets, and running through the sprinklers.

When we turned on the sprinklers the boys were all ready to take their clothes off and go get wet. Maddi however, came in and asked for her rain coat and put on her rain boots! Haha Silly little girl...we got a good laugh out of it.

Here's the backyard finished. Ryan ended up having to pick up one more pallet for the front yard and I never took a picture of it finished. Just take my word though-it looks great! Can't wait for the first BBQ! (Oh -well, I guess we better have a grill first)
