Camping Trip

This last weekend we went on a quick weekend camping trip with Ryan's parents. I wanted to get out before the baby is born and we wanted to give their new trailer a trial run. So Sunday afternoon we headed up to Island Park. We found a nice place to set up camp and then spent Monday in Yellowstone Park. The food was very yummy (nothing beats dutch oven) and we had beautiful weather. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

I always love going to Yellowstone. The park is just beautiful and when I'm out in the forest I just can't help but look in awe at God's creations. It really is magnificent. And, we actually saw quite a few animals which is always fun. The best spot we found was with all these buffalo and their new calves. It was so neat to watch the moms taking their babies across the river.

This little guy was sitting by the road while we were stuck in some construction. A cookie somehow ended up on the road by our car ( I won't name names) and this bird was eyeing it closely.

After some careful steps he went in for the kill!
