The past few weeks

Well, I've been needing to post and just haven't gotten around to it so here's what has been going on in the Evans household the past few weeks.

Brynnley had her first bath and she LOVED it! We have ditched the sink and gone to the tub so she can lay in the water and enjoy!

Maddi went to her first real birthday party. They had a tea party in the gardens up on BYU-I's campus. She was so excited to dress up and she came home with a new hat as well that she loves to play with!

Brynnley was blessed on August 8th. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed having some family come into town to share the day with us. It was also neat to have Brynnley blessed in the same dress I was blessed in.

I had planned on having Brynnley wear the same shoes as Maddi, but when I put them on this is what happened. She's so tiny her feet wouldn't even go in the shoe! So, we opted for the barefoot look. :)

On August 6th my grandpa passed away and we had the funeral for him that next weekend. It was so neat to see all of the family together. We were still missing a few, but not many. It's quite the accomplishment to get us all together. 9 siblings, 59 grandchildren, and 96 great-grandchildren- you do the math, and thats not counting spouses.

So thats what we've been up to. Life doesn't really slow down just because you've had a baby. I am starting to adjust much more now and feel able to get out and do things without feeling overwhelmed. Also, just to let you know, Brynnley is doing much better and at her weight check this past Monday she was up to 7 lbs. 2 oz. She's still a tiny little thing, but her cheeks are getting bigger and its so fun to see. She's a great baby, but likes to be fed every 3 hours around the clock. I'm hoping she'll start sleeping a little longer at night...Other than that though she's been so much fun to have around!
