The weekend of April General Conference we took a trip down to Tropic, Utah with Ryan's parents to see Grandma & Grandpa Clarke. I think it's a 10 hour drive if I remember right, which is always fun with kids, as I'm sure you know. Luckily, Rick & April have a DVD player and headphones in their car-score! The trip really wasn't all that bad, other than lots and lots of stops. :) Ryan's parent's are the worst at that. But, we were grateful to be going with them so no complaints. It had been quite a few years since we had been down. They hadn't ever met Brynnley so it was time.
Scenic photos are courtesy of Maddi. It kept her busy on the drive.
Ryan and his dad spent some time helping around the yard and farm while we were there. It was pretty chilly, and being the awesome mom that I am I didn't bring coats for my kids. There was a little jacket in the closet that we let Maddi wear, but when it came time to taking it off the zipper wouldn't budge. After some tricky tool work they were able to get it down enough to go over her head.
I really wish that I had gotten a picture with Grandma Clarke (Great-Grandma for my girls) but I didn't. However, this one with grandpa is priceless. I absolutely love it!
