Easter 2012

Due to Ryan and Maddi having birthdays in March I always feel a little burned out by Easter as far as celebrations go.  But, with kids, you have to make the memories.  I never regret it either.  Their smiles and excitement make all the effort worth it.  I saw an idea of using Kool-Aid to dye your eggs and thought it would be fun to try.  We went to the store and got all the colors we could find and headed home to dye our eggs.  Jacque was also with us for Easter this year which was fun.

The finished product.  Blah.  Never using Kool-Aid again!

The Easter Bunny did good!

These monkeys were a score after Valentines Day at K-Mart!

Our Fam, including the dog. :)
I always hate shopping for Easter dresses for my girls.  For one thing, I still want them to match, but Brynnley is so tiny and Maddi is growing up so its getting pretty tough.  Also, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find dresses with sleeves!  I came across these in just enough time.  I really love them and completely LOVE the bows I had made to match them from All Things Ribbon.  Love that lady!

Maddi's individual pose.  Oh how she loves the camera.

And Brynnley's.  Not such a fan of holding still. :)

No matter how crazy life gets, I always love the holidays mainly due to the time it gives me to spend with family.  It is the perfect excuse!  And, well I do love buying cute dresses for my girls, and candy for me, well you get the idea.
