It worked out great this year because Carissa was in town while we were in Boise which meant we had lots of time to catch up. I feel like we stay pretty connected through phone calls and webcam, but for the kids, being able to play together is the best. Carissa was staying at her in-laws this summer so one day we went over to have some water fun. They hook up a hose on their slide, and have a tarp/slip 'n slide at the bottom. The kids loved it! It was a full day of water, playing, and sunshine. Doesn't get much better than that!

So much fun! Doing it again next year? And I should win a prize for making it through all of these tonight. Now I can officially crash on the couch :) But it was really fun to remember the awesome summer we had. Now we just need some pictures of that sweet new baby!
