We'll start off with Christmas. It was fun having all of Ryan's family in town. We eat, play, and laugh all the time. Christmas Eve started with the grandkids acting out the Christmas story.
We always open pajamas on Christmas Eve and this year I was so excited for Maddi to have hers. She loved them and wanted to wear them all day long every day.
Christmas Morning. We didn't get many pictures...and none of Ryan and myself. As you can see Maddi did get her horse and a kitchen. I have to mention as well that I got a Wii!!!! I have been wanting one forever and Ryan got a sweet deal on Craigslist and totally surprised me. I had to open ten boxes, each one getting smaller, until I found a little riddle that started me on a hunt through the house. I ended up finding three more boxes which contained the Wii and all that came with it. It was awesome!
On Sunday after Christmas Maddi and I flew to Boise, because one of my best friends from high school was getting married in McCall. The drive up there was beautiful with the snow on all the pine trees.
Me, Jason (best man), Andrew (groom), and Kamron
Boise actually got a good snowstorm while we were there and so my dad took the girls sledding. Of course the next day it rained and most of the snow melted, but at least we had some for a day.
On New Years Eve we opened presents with my family. Maddi got this fun game from Jacque and the cutest little ballet outfit from my mom.
Then on our last night all together we played a Murder Mystery game.
Introducing (from left to right):
Marilyn Merlot, Ralph Rottingrape, Papa Vito, Hedy Shablee
My sisters and I had so much fun shopping at D.I. together picking out clothes and what not. It was a fun night and believe it or not...Papa Vito was the murderer.
To top off the entire vacation we got back to Rexburg Monday night in time to watch the Fiesta Bowl! And of course the Broncos won! It was a good game and thank you to the Lords for letting us crash at your house to watch the game. (Seeing as how we don't have T.V.) I hope you all enjoyed your holidays as well. I suppose it is about time to get back to life.
