The 4th is one of my favorite holidays. Mainly because of the fireworks. I LOVE fireworks! Unfortunately this year we didn't get to see any big fireworks, but we did have our own nice little firework show. Next year though, there will be big ones! :)
One of the most exciting things about this fourth was that we had a float in the parade! Ryan and his dad worked on it many late nights. The students helped a ton as well and the float turned out awesome! They won 1st in Novelty in two local parades! Way to go guys! You can't really tell in this picture, but there were bubbles coming out of the hair spray, and they had water misting out of the hairspray!

I tried this hairstyle I found on Maddi, but it didn't turn out quite as well as I wanted. The braids form a star, but I should have put the ponytails a little closer together so you could see it better. It also took longer than expected so we were almost late for the parade! And, once we finally made it outside to head to the parade the car's battery had died! Ryan was already at the parade for the float, but luckily Crystal hadn't left yet so she came and picked us up!
